Yes. Estimark installs to the home screen of any phone or tablet as a progressive web app — there is nothing to download from an app store — and quoting is a full mobile screen, not a cut-down one.

• Quotes are built from line items with quantity and unit price, priced against your own price book.
• VAT is applied at your company rate and stored on the quote.
• The finished quote renders as a branded PDF you can email from the phone.
• Native iOS and Android apps are in development. The installable web app is the field product today.

You send a portal link and the customer accepts and signs it in their browser. They do not create an account, download anything or log in.

• The signature is stored with the signer’s name, email address, IP address, browser and a timestamp.
• Optional line items can be ticked or unticked by the customer before they sign.
• Accepting the quote creates the job automatically, carrying across only the items they chose.
• Declining is recorded against the quote rather than disappearing into an unanswered email.

Estimark raises the invoice, emails it as a branded PDF and records payments against it. It does not take card payments from your customer on your behalf.

• Every payment you record is a ledger entry with amount, date, method and reference — not just a “paid” tick.
• Over-payment is rejected, and a payment recorded in error can be voided.
• Credit notes, payment plans and payment reminders are all built in.

NoteTaking a card or Direct Debit payment from your customer through Estimark is deliberately switched off for launch. You invoice; the money goes straight to your bank.

Yes. Invoices are pushed to Xero, QuickBooks, FreshBooks or Sage Business Cloud Accounting, and invoice payment status is pulled back once a day at 08:30.

• The push covers sales invoices, purchase orders as bills, certified payment applications and retention releases.
• You can also force a sync on a single invoice at any time.
• If the accounting package is unreachable, the push fails quietly and your Estimark record is still correct.

NoteThis is a one-way push with a payment-status pull back. There is no journal posting, no nominal ledger posting and no two-way sync.

Field mode keeps working offline and queues everything you do until the signal comes back.

• The app shell is cached, so it loads and navigates with no connection at all.
• Anything you create or change offline is stored in the browser’s own database and replayed automatically when you reconnect.
• Photos survive the queue — they are encoded and stored, not dropped.
• A change that fails to sync is retried up to five times and then held for you. It is never silently discarded.

Only if you pay subcontractors. CIS Compliance is a £19-a-month module, included from the Pro plan, and it is for the contractor doing the deducting.

• If you are the subcontractor being deducted from, you do not need it.
• The day you start paying labour-only subbies, CIS becomes your obligation — that is the point to add it.
