A RAMS can be brought in or drafted, and there is one place to write one
You can now create a RAMS by describing the work and letting Estimark produce a first draft, or by uploading a RAMS you already have, rather than typing every hazard from scratch. Either way it arrives as a draft for you to review and correct before issuing. Risk assessments and method statements are now written and managed in the RAMS register, where they are versioned and signed for, instead of being split across two places. Limits: A generated draft is a starting point and must be reviewed by a competent person before use. Nothing is issued until you choose to issue it. Risk assessments and method statements created before this change are unaffected and will still open and print as they did.
Somebody rings in sick and the office records it
You can now record leave on behalf of someone else, so when a worker rings in sick the office can log it straight away rather than waiting for the worker to enter it themselves. Leave entered this way is approved at the point you record it. You can also set who each employee reports to within the system. Limits: Recording leave for someone else requires leave approval permission. Booking your own leave still goes through the usual approval process.
A delivery that went wrong can be said to have gone wrong
You can now log a delivery problem from the Deliveries page, choosing from short delivery, damaged goods, wrong item, or never arrived. You can record the quantity affected and attach photos, mark the issue as raised with the supplier, add their claim reference, and close it once it is settled. Limits: Logging a problem does not send anything to the supplier. It keeps a record of what happened so you have the details to hand when you contact them.

A near miss keeps its photograph, and a snag photo stops dying within the hour
You can now attach photographs directly from your phone when reporting a near miss, and those photos stay with the report permanently and appear in the register. Snag photos are no longer lost after an hour, and a snag can now hold several photos and a video rather than being limited to one picture. Limits: Photographs already attached to older near misses and snags are unchanged.
Five things that are not live stop being offered to customers
Four integrations and the structural warranty referral screen have been removed from the product until they are ready to use. Previously, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Google Drive and OneDrive appeared as options even though they could not be connected, which could cause confusion. Those options are no longer shown. Limits: The defects liability register is unchanged and stays where it is.
A supplier is more than a name and a phone number
You can now record more detail when adding a supplier: their invoice address, trade account number, VAT number, agreed credit limit, and payment terms. You can also upload their price list at the same point, and any prices brought in that way are attributed to that supplier. Limits: Price lists must be CSV files in the format your trade account exports.
The homepage shows the app as it is now
The screenshots on the Estimark website homepage now show the current version of the app, not an older one.
An invoice can choose the letterhead it goes out on
When you raise an invoice, you can now pick which letterhead it goes out on rather than every invoice defaulting to the company template. Certificates will also carry your logo alongside your colour. Limits: The letterhead picker only appears if you have more than one template set up. Statutory forms keep their prescribed layout.
A roll call is a document, and a job can hold a certificate
Printing a roll call now produces a proper document showing the head count, tick boxes, and the time it was taken, rather than printing the screen. You can also attach files such as certificates, delivery notes, and signed orders directly to a job from the job itself. A certificate download that was previously failing without any message now downloads correctly. Limits: Files attach to the job rather than to an individual certificate record.

A bad job status is refused at the edge instead of crashing the read
If you filtered the job list by a status that does not exist, the screen would crash instead of telling you what was wrong. It now returns a clear message refusing the filter, and jobs marked as finished correctly drop off the job list in the field app.
Eight registers could never show a row, and a test now refuses the ninth
Eight registers that were always showing "none yet" now display the records they hold, covering CDM projects, F10 notifications, accidents, asbestos, COSHH and permits. The environmental dashboard was also showing zero for carbon, waste and recycling totals; those figures now reflect the actual records.
Five records you could make and then never reach, change, or get the link to again
You can now add plant from the fleet screen, copy or open a client's portal link from the job itself, copy or resend a subcontractor's enquiry link if the email did not arrive, and edit a client or subcontractor after creating them. Previously, saving a subcontractor's accreditation numbers showed a success message but did not store anything; those numbers are now saved correctly. Limits: Bank details are still changed from the subcontractor record rather than the edit form, because the account number is masked once saved.
The labour rates map never had a container to draw into
The regional labour rates map was not appearing on screen before. It now draws correctly, loads considerably faster, and still shows rates as markers if the national boundary data is unavailable.
An employee photo was always saved and could never be shown
Employee photos now appear on the team member's record after you upload them. Opening a team member shows their employment record alongside their access settings, where your permissions allow. The CIS settings no longer ask for HMRC developer credentials, which were not something a business could obtain. Limits: Verifying a subcontractor against HMRC from within Estimark is not available yet. Record the verification number HMRC gave you and Estimark will apply the correct deduction rate.
The snag photographs are still on the disk
Photographs attached to snags before this week stopped displaying a short time after they were taken. The photographs themselves were never lost and are restored to the snags they belong to. Photographs sent in by clients through a snag portal link were affected in the same way and now attach properly. Limits: Older photographs are restored in one pass once this is live.
Ten downloads that have never once worked
Several downloads and document links that previously did nothing now open correctly. This covers waste transfer notes, completion certificates, F10 notifications, permits, report exports, plant QR codes, and links to a worker's uploaded certificates. Photographs now display on the photos screen rather than showing as broken images.
