Job, safety and payment software for roofers

How does extra work on a roofing job get paid for?

Variations are a first-class record rather than a note on an invoice: raised on site, priced, sent for approval, and carried into the valuation.

A variation is raised against the job with photographs attached, so the reason for it is visible rather than described.
It carries its own status, so nobody has to remember which extras were agreed and which are still hanging.
Approved variations land in the payment application as their own line, so one disputed extra cannot put the whole valuation in dispute.
Variations are included from Solo.

NoteThe system can price a variation and route it for approval. It cannot make a customer sign one, and work started before that signature is still work started at your risk.

What does Estimark do about working at height?

Permits to work in six types including working at height, each with a valid-from and a valid-to time, alongside RAMS versioned so an operative signs a specific revision.

A permit expires on its own rather than staying open until somebody files it.
Every RAMS version is a separate record with an explicit supersedes link, and a sign-off names the exact revision that person accepted, with the signature, the method and the time.
Sign-off works by QR scan, in the app, or on paper, so a labour-only subbie with no login does not become a hole in the record.

Can I prove what the weather did to the programme?

The Site Diary is a dated daily log per job carrying weather, workforce, plant, visitors, delays and the work actually carried out.

A weather day recorded on the day it happened is worth something. The same day recalled three months later is not.
Delays are their own field rather than a sentence in a notes box, so they can be counted.
Photo Management keeps site photographs against the job with the date they were taken, which is the record that matters once the covering is on.

Is there roofing software that handles variations found after the strip?
