Yes. Line items can be marked optional, the customer ticks or unticks them in the portal before signing, and the job is created from the lines they chose.

• The signature is stored with the signer’s name, email address, IP address, browser and a timestamp.
• Accepting the quote creates the job carrying only the chosen items, so the battery the customer declined does not get ordered.
• A deposit invoice is raised from the quote, and a payment plan can spread the balance over stages.
• Every payment recorded is a ledger entry with amount, date, method and reference.

NoteEstimark does not take card payments from your customer and has no finance-provider integration. You invoice, and the money goes to your bank.

Purchase orders are raised against the job with line receipting, so a delivery of twelve panels against an order for fourteen shows as partially received rather than as done.

• Orders run through draft, approval where a spend limit needs it, sent, partially received and received, and every receipt is dated.
• Job costing shows materials, labour, plant and subcontract against the job as they are committed and as they are invoiced. Job Costing is included from Core.
• Van Stock holds the small parts by van, store or site, with every issue to a job recorded, as a bolt-on at £99 a month +VAT.
• Purchase Orders is included from Core.

The Electrical Installation Certificate is a certificate type with its own typed fields, so the Ze, the prospective fault current, the circuit schedule and the RCD trip times land as data rather than as a photograph of a form.

• EIC, EICR, Minor Works and PAT are all built in, each with the sections that certificate needs and nothing else.
• The customer signs on the device with their name and a timestamp, and the certificate renders as a branded PDF attached to the job and the property.
• A subcontract electrician’s NICEIC or NAPIT registration is tracked with its expiry in Subcontractor Management, included from Core.

NoteEstimark has no MCS certificate type, does not register an installation on the MCS database, and does not apply to the network operator under G98 or G99. Those are documents you obtain, and the handover pack is where they are kept.

A handover pack compiles the documents you upload against the job into one branded document, in six categories: O&M manual, warranty, test certificate, as-built drawing, compliance certificate and datasheet.

• The MCS certificate, the DNO acknowledgement and the inverter and panel warranties go in as compliance certificates and warranties, and the EIC is attached from the job.
• Warranty Management holds the warranty period per job with its length in months and the date the certificate was issued, and a claim raised from the client portal is logged with a severity and a status. It is included from Pro.
• Photo Management keeps the roof before the array and after it as a before-and-after pair, visible to the customer in the portal if you choose. It is included from Solo.
• A maintenance contract dates the annual heat pump service, records each visit and can raise its invoice automatically.

Core at £129 a month +VAT covers up to 5 users with no job limit and carries Purchase Orders and Job Costing, which is where an installer’s margin is made or lost.

• Solo is £39 a month +VAT for 2 users and 20 open jobs, with quotes, optional lines, signature, certificates and invoicing.
• Pro at £299 a month +VAT covers up to 20 users and adds Warranty Management, plant and fleet.
• The client portal is included from Core, so a customer can watch progress photographs without ringing.
