£29/mo · included with EnterpriseCash flow forecasting by job, month by month
Estimark’s Cash Flow Forecasting module builds a per-job forecast as a series of monthly periods, each holding a forecast income and a forecast cost figure, shaped by a selectable distribution — the S-curve most construction jobs actually follow rather than a straight line. It is included with the Enterprise plan (£999/month), or £29 a month on a lower plan.
What the Cash Flow Forecasting module does
- Creates one forecast per job, made up of dated monthly periods.
- Holds a forecast income and a forecast cost figure per period, plus notes.
- Applies a selectable distribution type, so the spend curve can be shaped rather than assumed linear.
- Sits alongside payment applications, where the certified figure is the reality the forecast is measured against.
Cash Flow Forecasting — how it works
Why do construction cash flows follow an S-curve?
Because spend on a construction job starts slowly during mobilisation, accelerates through the main works, and tails off through completion and snagging. Plotted cumulatively that is an S. Forecasting a job on a straight line overstates early cash need and understates the middle, which is where most firms actually run short.
What does Estimark forecast against?
Per job, per month, with a forecast income and a forecast cost figure held separately. Because payment applications record what was applied for and what was certified, and job costing records actual cost against a baseline, the forecast has real comparators rather than being a spreadsheet nobody revisits.
NoteForecast figures are entered by you. Estimark does not auto-generate a forecast from the estimate, and it does not connect to your bank.

Questions
Cash Flow Forecasting — frequently asked
Which plan includes cash flow forecasting?
Cash Flow Forecasting is included with Enterprise (£999 a month). On Solo, Core or Pro it can be activated individually for £29 a month.
Does Estimark connect to my bank account?
No. Cash flow forecasting works from figures you enter per job per month, compared against payment applications and job cost records inside Estimark. There is no bank feed.
Can I forecast across the whole company rather than one job?
Forecasts are built per job as monthly periods. Company-level reporting draws on those job forecasts alongside the invoice and payment application records.
